Project Manager
What You Will Get to Do:
The Project Manager will serve as the primary day-to-day interface with the customer and will be accountable for schedule, scope, resources, risks, quality, deliverables, and overall delivery performance. The role requires a hands-on leader who can anticipate issues, drive decisions, coordinate technical and functional workstreams, and maintain delivery momentum with minimal Government intervention.
This role requires residency within the Washington Metropolitan Area, with the ability and willingness to travel to the client's site in Falls Church, VA three days a week.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution of a modernization project from kickoff through MVP, production deployment, stabilization, and transition.
- Develop, maintain, and manage the integrated project schedule, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and Government decision points.
- Lead an Agile delivery model using two-week sprints, including sprint planning, backlog management, demonstrations, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Coordinate functional, architecture, development/configuration, integration, data, testing, security, training, change management, and O&M activities.
- Maintain visibility into project progress and proactively identify schedule, technical, staffing, security, integration, and operational risks.
- Maintain and manage the project risk, issue, action, and decision processes; drive mitigation and corrective actions before issues affect critical milestones.
- Track project performance against the baseline schedule and rapidly address variances through resource adjustments, task resequencing, or other corrective actions.
- Coordinate development and quality review of contract deliverables and ensure deliverables meet SOW requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Manage subcontractor and partner performance as part of a single integrated Team Southpoint delivery organization.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical teams, security personnel, and contractor leadership.
- Provide concise status reporting on accomplishments, upcoming activities, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and corrective actions.
- Support requirements traceability from business requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and acceptance.
- Lead knowledge transfer and transition planning.
- Promote continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned, delivery metrics, user feedback, and operational performance into subsequent releases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience managing complex Federal IT programs.
- 5+ years managing Agile application development or implementation projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, deliverables, and resources.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, DevSecOps, and modern application delivery practices.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project or comparable project management and collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated experience communicating with Government program managers, CORs, business stakeholders, and technical leadership.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating delivery across multiple organizations.
- Strong written, verbal, facilitation, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
- Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain.
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification.
- Scrum Master, SAFe, or comparable Agile certification.
- Experience supporting federal law enforcement/justice organization.
- Experience managing Microsoft Power Platform, low-code, SaaS/PaaS, or enterprise workflow modernization implementations.
- Experience delivering systems involving complex workflow automation, case management, scheduling, external users, or high-volume transactional processes.
