Job Title: Logistics Management Specialist (All Levels)
Location: Washington Navy Yard, DC (On-site)
Security Clearance: Active Secret OR clearable (US Citizenship required)
Position Overview:
Join a premier defense consulting team at the forefront of naval readiness and strategic operations. We are seeking motivated Logistics Management Specialists across multiple experience tiers to provide critical programmatic support on-site at the historic Washington Navy Yard. In this role, you will collaborate with military leaders and technical experts to optimize acquisition strategies, manage sophisticated financial ecosystems, and deliver actionable data analysis. Key Responsibilities:
• Integrate the full spectrum of logistics processes within operational, acquisition, and wholesale naval environments.
• Direct the integrated logistics support (ILS) process, develop support policies, procedures, and implementation guidance.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce strict internal control measures and operational standards to ensure the workforce is properly trained and equipped.
• Prepare directives and implement strategic plans to guarantee effective lifecycle logistics support across major systems.
• Senior Tier Responsibility: Initiate, integrate, and manage complex lifecycle logistics actions specifically associated with naval weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field (High school/vocational diploma or GED equivalent considered with expanded experience).
• Security Clearance: Active Secret OR clearable (US Citizenship required).
• Core Competencies: Comprehensive understanding of federal logistics frameworks, supply chain structures, and operational readiness parameters.
Experience & Career Tiering:
We are actively mapping candidates to the following corporate tiers based on experience:
• Associate Tier: Greater than 1 year (>1) of baseline integrated logistics support (ILS) or tracking experience.
• Specialist Tier: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant professional experience focused directly on integrated logistics support (ILS).
• Senior/Principal Tier: 7–10+ years of advanced experience. Candidates must show a proven track record of managing lifecycle logistics for complex weapon systems and managing key stakeholder coordination.
